Hotreader (hereinafter referred to as "this Software") attaches great importance to user privacy protection and follows the core principles of minimal‑permission design, no personal data collection, and business‑only data processing. This statement clearly describes our data handling practices. Please read it carefully before using the Software.

1. Core Privacy Commitment

This Software does NOT collect, store, upload, share or sell any of your personal information. There is no privacy harvesting, tracking or data‑stealing behavior of any kind.

• No account registration or login is required. We do not collect identity information such as your name, email address, phone number or ID number.
• No sensitive device information is gathered, including IMEI, serial number, location, contacts, photo library or installed‑application inventory.
• No background tracking, user‑behavior analytics, ad‑tracking or telemetry logs are uploaded.
• All reading history, application preferences and cache files are stored locally on your device only. None of this data is saved on our servers, and we have no remote access to your local files.

2. Functional Data Transmission

To enable core features including document parsing, format conversion and resource loading, the Software performs anonymous business‑related data transfers. These transmissions contain no personally identifiable information.

• Data transmitted: Only functional payloads such as parsing commands, format‑conversion parameters and request validation data. No private user content is included.
• Purpose of transmission: Solely to execute core software functions for document processing and normal service responses.
• Data retention: Business‑request data is ephemeral real‑time traffic. It is discarded immediately after request completion. No permanent storage, backup or user‑tracing is performed on our servers. Individual users cannot be identified from such traffic.
• No third‑party disclosure: Functional business data is used exclusively for the operation of Hotreader. It will never be disclosed, leased or sold to any third‑party entity or individual.

3. Third‑Party Services

This Software does not integrate any third‑party SDKs for analytics, advertising, profiling or user tracking. No external data‑collection channels are embedded.

4. User Control over Local Data

All local data residing on your device (reading records, custom settings, local cache etc.) remains fully owned and controlled by you. You may clear cache, erase records or reset preferences locally at any time. There is no forced retention, silent backup or unauthorized upload performed by the Software.

5. Children’s Privacy

This Software is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors.
